3nd Annual MARC Symposium - November 3-4, 2017

Save The Dates!

3rd Annual MARC Symposium
Pediatric Neuromechanics & Sports Medicine

November 3 & 4, 2017

The Motion Analysis Research Center was established at Samuel Merritt University in 2013 to support both the teaching and research activities in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Podiatric Medicine.  Its annual symposium offers faculty, students, and community members an opportunity to participate in a forum that includes tutorials, workshops, and presentations, interacting with invited speakers from a variety of fields, all with an interest in human motion analysis.  This year’s themes are “Pediatric Neuromechanics and Sports Medicine”.

The event will be held over two days, November 3rd & 4th 2017, with the first day devoted to morning workshops and afternoon tutorials.  On the second day, keynote addresses along with oral and poster presentations will take place.

This will be an exciting and rewarding event that will be of interest to a wide range of participants in the healthcare industry.  We look forward to welcoming you to the Motion Analysis Research Center in Oakland CA in November, 2017.

Keynote Speakers

  • Dr. Irene Davis, Spaulding National Running Center

  • Dr. Richard Bouché DPM, Sports Medicine Podiatrist

  • Dr. Russell Volpe DPM, Pediatric Podiatrist
