About Me
Dr. Formento has been a professional nurse for over 25 years with a passion for teaching as well as providing care in rural and underserved communities. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years during which time she has worked in clinical services, administration, research, informatics, and education. Her true passion is teaching and working with vulnerable populations.
Education
Dr. Formento received a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Samuel Merritt University, Post-Master Certificate in Health Information Technology from University of Colorado (Denver), Master of Science in Nursing from University of Hawaii, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University.
