About Me

I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years at many Bay Area hospitals (John Muir, Sutter - California Pacific Medical Center, Sutter - Alta Bates, St. Francis Hospital, and Kaiser). I worked in Accounting/Finance leadership, and until 2011 when I took the plunge to pursue my passion for a career in nursing. In Spring 2014; I graduated from SMU's ABSN nursing program, passed NCLEX, and accepted a role at Sutter - Alta Bates in Post-Partum. I've worked in OB (Post-Partum and Antepartum) for six years and including Perinatal Nurse leadership roles for 1.5 years. In November 2019; I returned to bedside nursing (Antepartum unit at Sutter - Alta Bates), to afford me additional flexibility to pursue other professional/personal endeavors. I received my MSN from the University of Arizona in 2019, and my RNC-MNN (nurse certified in Maternal Newborn) in 2020.
