About Me
I am originally from Southern California before I moved to Northern California to begin my work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have a passion for helping disadvantaged populations as well as preparing new NP's to successfully transition to practice. With over a decade of experience in ambulatory care nursing, I am all too familiar with the challenges new NP's encounter within the setting while they simultaneously contend with role confusion and imposter syndrome. As an educator, I am happy to leverage this knowledge and experience to help my students grow and be successful.
In my clinical work, I am passionate about shared decision-making, patient-empowered care, and providing a safe and nonjudgemental space. I encourage all of my patients and families to be well-informed and active members within their own healthcare team.
