About Me
I am a proud native of the Pacific Northwest (Go Ducks!) and have called the Sacramento region home for over 20 years. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have two wonderful children and a few beloved pets that complete our family. We cherish the outdoors, whether we're hiking, traveling, or simply enjoying time with loved ones. We're also big fans of catching the latest movies whenever we can.
Professionally, outside of my role at Samuel Merritt University, I practice Physiatry in a Skilled Nursing Facility. My clinical work is deeply fulfilling, as it allows me to focus on enhancing the quality of life for my patients—adding "life to years" rather than just "years to life." This holistic approach to patient care is something I am passionate about, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of those I serve.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance from CSU Sacramento. I furthered my education with a Master of Science in Health Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Physician Assistant degree from Samuel Merritt University.
