About Me
I am graduate of Cornell University (1980), Albany Medical College Physician Assistant Program (1988), and received my Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Nebraska in 1999. I joined the SMU PA Program in 1999 as Clinical Coordinator and since that time have served in every position in the Department including Program Director from 2004-2008. I have over 30 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine and recently retired from UCSF Emergency Department as Senior Physician Assistant. I have a keen interest in the implementation and integration of simulation into all phases of health science didactic and clinical curricula. I have expanded the use of classroom simulation in several clinical medicine based courses in the PA Department.
