About Me
I feel very fortunate to call the Bay Area home, it is a special place. I grew up in Alameda and reside there now with my husband and 2 children. I always knew medicine was my path, but it took me some time to figure out the PA profession was my calling. After completing my Bachelor degree, I spent almost 5 years living in England and using it as a launch pad to explore the world. After that I returned to the Bay and embarked on my journey in healthcare.
I knew how incredible SMU and the PA program was after my time as a student here, and it has been a real honor to be part of this faculty since 2012. I love working with this amazing team, and to be a part of the training and education of my future colleagues is a privilege, and a role that has taught me so much. After graduation I worked in endocrinology for 5 years, and in 2015 I made the transition to my true love- primary care- where I work currently. When not at clinic or SMU, I enjoy being with my family, getting outside as much as possible, and watching our favorite Bay Area sports teams.
