About Me
I have enjoyed my career in Podiatry both while on the faculty of CSPM and in Private Practice. In addition to teaching both students and residents in Podiatric Surgery I have had the opportunity to serve as Dean for Clinical Affairs and Hospital Administrator as well as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
I maintained a large private practice with several excellent partners and was privileged to always have students from CSPM rotating through our office as part of their surgical training.
On a national level I have been honored to serve as President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, National Chairman, Council of Teaching Hospitals and Chairman, Residency Review Committee for Surgical Residencies for the Council of Education American Podiatric Medical Association.
I have a wonderful wife of 50 years, two exceptional children, 5 grandchildren and in addition to wonderful times spent with them, I do enjoy playing golf when time allows and fly fishing with some very dear friends.
Education
For my undergrauate education I attended Chapman University with a major in Biology and minor in Radiation Chemistry. I then attended The California College of Podiatric Medicine receiving my DPM. During my residency I was awarded an MS in Podiatric Surgical Education.
