About Me
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work in medicine. I received a degree in biology from UCSB and returned to Portland, where I am originally from, to pursue the PA profession. I spent some time working at OHSU hospital before moving to Tennessee to attend Lincoln Memorial University's PA program. I began my PA career in orthopedics/sports medicine for 2 years, but transitioned into full-time emergency medicine just prior to the Covid 19 pandemic. I continue to practice full-time in the ED at multiple sites, which allows me the freedom to teach and pursue other passions. When not working, you can find me traveling, running, doing yoga, gardening, or enjoying a nice red wine.
