About Me

I started in SMU as of last year. I taught courses at the Master’s and DNP Program, and currently serving a chair. Prior to that, I have taught over 10 years in undergrad and master’s through online, hybrid, and face-to-face classroom setting. My clinical experience for nearly 2 decades were primarily from acute setting. Patient population I cared for were adults in surgical, orthopedic, ICU, oncology, and medical telemetry. Held supervisory role in oncology unit, director role in simulation, and senior specialist in Quality Department. I am currently serving as a peer-reviewed of manuscript for nursing journal.
