Samuel Merritt University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide official transcript ordering securely online. IMPORTANT UPDATE:  We now offer official eTranscripts, so we encourage you to use that option, if possible.

Order Transcript

Printed transcript (mailed) and eTranscript (electronic emailed transcript) options are available.

Printed transcripts are processed within 7-10 business days (SEE NOTE ABOVE FOR CURRENT PROCESSING OF PAPER TRANSCRIPTS), once you submit your request, and are mailed via regular U.S. mail. We are unable to provide rush, printed transcripts, at this time.

eTranscripts are processed within minutes, once you submit your request. Please first confirm with the recipient that they will be able to receive an electronic copy of your transcript. Sending transcripts electronically is the fastest and most secure way to go.

If you are a current student, you may access your unofficial transcript via SMURF at any time. Alumni who graduated within the last 15 years should also be able to access their unofficial transcript via SMURF. If you have issues accessing SMURF, please contact the IT Service Desk at 510-907-2555 (option 1), and they will be happy to assist you with your username and password.
