Federal Work Study: Podiatry Office Assistant

Summary:
Assist the Administrative Coordinator in the College of Podiatric Medicine with routine office tasks and special projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the front desk
• Creating mailing labels & prepare materials for mailing
• Data entry & word processing
• Photocopying & scanning, filing and maintain files
• Tracking inventory and supplies
• Organizing CPM office, supply and Bomechanics room
• Creating materials/packets for events
• Preparing supplies and materials for special events
• Assist with appointment scheduling for room accommodations and IT requests
• Proctor exams in the CPM office
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Familiarity with computers and programs such as Teams and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Zoom
• Ability to handle privileged information in a confidential manner
• Ability to successfully work independently, and carry out written and verbal instructions
• Ability to logically and clearly sort, track and organize information and equipment/supplies
• Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in detailed work
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs., and push and pull carts
