About Me
Prior to joining SMU DPT core faculty I completed a 2-year faculty development residency with Duke's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. I have 10+ years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics with subspecialty in sports rehabilitation and complex patient management. Clinical practice interests include functional manual therapy influenced by the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), integrated performance training, and injury prevention. Passion & interest in clinical instruction of student physical therapists led to my progression into academia.
Education
I graduated from Ithaca College's DPT program in 2012 and I completed the Duke DPT Faculty Development Residency in 2022.
