About Me

Cynthia Stacy is a mother, wife and nurse who has been practicing for over twenty years, working at the bedside in various practice settings including; neurotrauma critical care, critical, stroke telemetry. This faculty member has served as nurse manager, assistant nurse manger and currently practices as an administrative supervisor in a bay area health system. Cynthia’s passion for the nursing profession is infectious, her teaching and leadership style can be described as a mentor, coach and motivator. Professional organizational involvement includes serving as president of Nu Xi at Large, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Association of California Nurse Leaders, American Nurses Association and Bay Area Nurses Association.  One of Cynthia’s guiding passages comes from Don Miguel’s Four Agreements is,  Agreement Four: Don’t Take Anything Personally.  Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
