About Me

 I have been a board certified FNP and PA since 1980. My clinical practice experience includes emergency medicine (PA emergency medicine residency, 1980), family practice, aesthetic medicine, and infectious diseases; most recently working for over 10 years with transgender and gender fluid patients in both the California prisons and the Bay Area community.
     My academic career includes administrative positions as program director/Chair of various SMU programs/departments, tenure as president of the faculty organization and Chair of the School of Nursing, as well as active leadership in various SMU and SoN committees.
