About Me
I am passionate about teaching. I believe it is a privilege to have the opportunity to teach and interact with students and I believe in teaching them according to their learning style.
I am an innovative educator and motivational leader with strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills. I am also a compassionate and culturally sensitive clinician that utilizes evidence-based practice to provide quality healthcare to patients and to educate future nurse practitioner leaders. I am committed to the highest levels of ethical, professional, and personal excellence.
Education
I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Duke University in 2012. I was also the Degree Marshall at the Commencement. In 2007, I received my Entry-Level Masters of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (ELMSN-FNP) at Samuel Merritt University. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Cal State University, East Bay.
