About Me

I have taught courses in the Bachelors of Nursing Science program (Oakland) and Accelerated Bachelors of Nursing Science program (Oakland) in the College of Nursing since 2018. I have clinical experience working in various nursing specialties including internal medicine (endocrinology, cardiovascular, gastroenterology), medical-surgical units, telemetry units oncology, primary care, case management, and public health nursing.

Education

I am a licensed RN in California. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) from University of California, Los Angeles and a PhD in Public Health from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests including healthy aging, nursing leadership and professional development, community/public health nursing and senior synthesis courses.
