The University maintains a list of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills (technical standards) deemed essential to the completion of each professional program. These standards identify the necessary physical and mental abilities of all candidates, with or without reasonable accommodation, and they are not intended to deter any candidate for whom reasonable accommodation will allow the fulfillment of the complete curriculum. Candidates with questions regarding technical standards are encouraged to contact the Disability Resource Center immediately to begin to address what types of accommodation may be considered on a case-by-case basis to achieve these standards through a process that examines and values all of the skills, attitudes, and attributes of each candidate.
